ABOUT
Sven Jacobsens pictures embody his own life style. The photos are full of pure emotions. They are something of an homage to a world that is very close and beckons daily, and to life and its loveliness.
"I simply try to locate bliss in the simple things, in the aesthetics of the moment, in order to render a mood visible. And I am mostly concerned with emotionality, lightness and authenticity. The images must not be too perfect because perfection makes them seem sterile and constructed. Instead everything occurs naturally, spontaneously and flows into each other. Only in that one brief moment. I think this is how images touch you.
When I'm taking photos, I let my intuition guide me. My intuition is born by a feeling of letting go, of relaxation... of simplicity and clarity... inner peace, concentration, and enthusiasm.
In order to create a full functioning entity, it is necessary for all elements to harmonize. I come up with the best images when i feel them."
