1976 Marco Walker was born
2004-06 Marco Walker studied Photography & Imaging at The Arts Centre,
Los Angeles. Following his graduation he apprenticed under the tuition of Art Streiber, renowned portrait and celebrity photographer working with
Marco moved to San Francisco after gaining the role of assistant to Mary Ellen Mark.
While in San Francisco his work developed and he gained recognition and prestige shooting with many music labels including Om and Custard records. It was this work in Music, shooting artists that led the way to his first solo show in NY which took place in March 2010 which was received well and gained him more attention for his portraits.
Since his recent move to London at the beginning of 2011 Marco has worked with key fashion and lifestyle publications including Harpers Bazaar, In Style and Tush and has worked on commercial jobs with Fashion brands including Browns, Topshop, Vodafone, Bex Rox, Felder Felder and Club Monaco to name a few.
Marco shoots backstage each season at Fashion Weeks in New York, Paris and London for shows including Dior, Lanvin, McQueen, Burberry and Chloe.
As well for Universal, Vanity Fair and Entertainment weekly.
